Preparing Your Session For Mixing
Make sure that you are completely satisfied with your recordings, and that all recordings have proper gain structure and no audio clipping.
We recommend that you correct anything you’re unhappy with before mixing. If you are unsure, let us know and we can help you decide whether or not it’s ready to be mixed. Or if certain elements require replacements and overdubbing.
Complete all editing and labeling, and print all midi, virtual instruments and any additional effects or processing.
Supply multi-track files dry, without reverb or effects. Unless a specific effect, processing or creative element (filter sweeps, delays, etc) is an integral part of the sound. Make sure your files are neatly and clearly labelled.
Prepare the correct file format: We accept WAV or AIFF files at sampling rates of 44.1kHz or 48kHz and bit depths of either 16, 24 or 32 bit. We also accept Pro Tools sessions. Please supply us with mono or stereo files.
